In issuing the fourth volume of Wiltshire Registers the Editors are glad to be able to include one more practically complete Register—that of Urchfont—which begins in 1538, and is continuous from that date. With the exception of the first volume, which has received some damage during an existence of over three centuries and a half, the books appear to be as complete as they have ever been.
